It's been some time since my last update; I hadn't even realized, time passes so quickly recently... The school's starting soon and I'm not pleased about that.

I've been drawing as much as ever, though, and I've even finished a picture, which is a rather rare occurence nowadays! :D Although it was supposed to be a quick colour job, I'm rather happy with how it turned out~

I've been overloaded with work as of now. I suppose it's only natural, since the end of the school year is getting near. 

Aaaanyway, more pictures! Drawing is a perfect way to let off some steam :D

I'm finally back home from the skiing camp; my feelings about it are quite mixed. The snow lasted for two days only... It's nice we're getting our money back, but I'd rather have skied a bit more. :c

I've got a new awesome graphic program that helps me make smoother lineart with a mouse and I wanted to try it out with a little picture. :D I decided to draw a genderbend, since I haven't done one of these in ages and they're always so fun to do. So here's Colias Palaeno and Manny Coachen from AAI.

Also, for something completely unrelated, Chrome crashes more and more often when I visit LiveJournal. I'm afraid I'll have to go back to Firefox Dx

I've finally finished this game :3

I must say, I was worried that the Ace Attorney series has gone down the drain after the terribly mediocre Apollo Justice game. Thankfully, I was wrong. :D

This game is a wonderful new addition to the series. Even with the numerous changes, it retains the spirit of the older games. I like the new investigation system, it works much better than the older one; I hope it will appear in the future games as well.

Apollo Justice was really bland game. Most of the characters were irritating and unlikable, and the cases were so boring I couldn't force myself to finish the game and watched it on YT instead. Thankfully, it's not the case with AAI. The characters were really good, I liked every single one :D I was happy to see some familiar faces. whose personalities weren't changed to the point of being almost unrecognizable, like in AJ. The cases were a lot of fun as well, alhough moving them out of court made the fight against the bad guys seem less... dramatic. Actually, it seemed like they were digging their own graves; they didn't have to testify, after all.

The logic system...It seemed good in theory, but in practice it proved itself to be completely unnecessary. Most of the time it was a simple 'connect the dots' task and you didn't really have to think in order to make any progress.
Actually, that's my main problem with the game. It was simply too easy, especially in comparison with the other games; the game basically led you by hand, dropping hints everywhere..

- Oh, now I'll have to present that evidence.
- You mean that one you got from X? The one about Y?
- Yes, that one!

Conversations like the one above were a common occurence, and it annoyed me greatly each time.

Still, I enjoyed the game and I think it'll join Justice for All for being my favourite one from the series.

This one was done for a prompt at bludhavens 's meme. I'm actually quite proud of how it came out, seeing as it was done with mouse. I rarely draw characters from side, so it was a good exercise.

And here I thought I'd finally draw a serious picture now that my winter holidays started... No luck, my tablet had to break down completely. At least I had an excuse to smash it against the wall. :D

Anyway, have a 5-minute drawing. The outfit's a variation of the one worn occasionally by Luca Trulyworth from Ar Tonelico II.

Finally I'm free. I don't have so much work as before and I can focus on drawing again. I decided to try to draw something on oekaki... brings back memories. It's not the best picture, but I had fun drawing it.

So much to do lately, I'm getting more and more tired. My drawing mood seems to be gone, so only one picture again.

Only one sketch today - my creative mood seems to have curled into a ball somewhere and died. The picture... We were watching an egyptian-themed movie at school. I remember I was really into ancient Egypt when I was younger. Now I'm more interested in Victorian Era.
